TRANSPORTATION SERVICE

INTRODUCTION
Greetings, Roxbury housing co-op and apartment complex community (smile). Welcome to our Pilot transportation service. We are a neighborhood company with a 15-passenger Ford Transit (2017), offering transportation tailored for our residents. Capped at 12 passengers—three seats reserved for groceries and travel bags—We are here to serve our adults, families, and aunties and uncles with reliable rides to IHOP, the store, an ocean sit-beside, or wherever they need to go. This is a Roxbury-rooted service, built with care and community in mind.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Here’s the plan:

  • Who’s Riding: Adults, Families, our Seniors (aunties and uncles)—no minors under 18 without a guardian.  We have no disable wheelchair access.  Riders have to be able to access 3 steps to sit in the cabin.

  • Destinations: Roxbury and nearby Boston—Groceries, Nearby Beach walks/parks, restaurant luncheons, IHOP, Tropical Foods, museums, malls/stores, pharmacies, cashmobs to support local businesses and beyond.

  • The Van: 15-seater Ford Transit, commercially insured, maxed at 12 passengers with three seats for luggage.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM—all trips end by 2:00 PM. This is a pilot service for our adults/seniors’ late-morning needs, avoiding rush hour. We’re only chartered for Massachusetts right now—so no casino runs to Connecticut or sightseeing in New Hampshire or Maine YET. But we can tailor and customize charters up to & over 4 hours anywhere in MA (malls in Framingham/Worcester/Fitchburg, The steamship ports of Woodshole and Hyannis for Martha’s Vineyard, or Springfield/Berkshires/Mohawk Valley visits). Just contact us and designing it with us. With steady regulars and positive group energy, we’ll explore expanding the schedule.

PRICING MODEL
Prices are clear and fair—booked and paid upfront via the landing page (Wave, 1.25% fee included). TIME OVERRUNS BUMP TO THE NEXT TIER—NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • For 7 or Fewer Passengers:

    • One-Way Drop-Off: $40.50

    • 1-Hour Round Trip: $91.13

    • 2-Hours Ride Time: $182.25

    • 4-Hours Half-Day: $283.50

  • For 8-12 Passengers:

    • One-Way Drop-Off: $60.75

    • 1-Hour Round Trip: $136.69

    • 2-Hours Ride Time: $273.38

    • 4-Hours Half-Day: $425.25

OPERATIONS & AGREEMENT

    • NO MINORS UNDER 18 WITHOUT A GUARDIAN—ID checked if needed.

    • PAYMENT UPFRONT VIA WAVE—locks in your tier.

    • TIME LIMITS ARE FIRM: Over your booked time (e.g., 1-hour trip past 60 minutes)? Charged the next tier after via Wave.

    • DAMAGES COST EXTRA: Mess up the van? $50 cleaning fee, billed later.

    • I can refuse service for safety or respect issues.

  • How It Goes: Book online, pay, ride. Late? NEXT TIER APPLIES—I’ll wait, you’ll pay extra. Rules are in the Wave invoice—payment seals it.
