See the 2nd child, boy, looking to the adult for answers.  The adult can run the test, but does the adult have an answer?  Can the two men in the room, embrace the child after the 'test' and explain in a lasting way, the fundamental reason for the child's agonizing hesitation in self-identifying with a 'bad' doll?  The last girl is strongest.  She does not want to answer.  She knows this adult game is a cruel one.  (...Thus) she is closer to hearing an alternative.  If only the adults could provide her one.
